Claude Watermark Remover

Clean supported Claude text marks and review the result before copying.

What the Claude remover can do today

The current tool removes supported hidden Unicode carriers and can apply a fixed, local statistical-processing mode. Anthropic has not yet published the complete third-party detection mechanism, so token-level removal cannot be independently guaranteed.

Use it for Claude text you control

Paste your text, choose a deterministic mode, compare the output, and keep only changes you accept. The workflow does not call Claude, OpenAI, Gemini, or another rewriting model.

Built to track Anthropic's implementation

When Anthropic publishes detector details or changes model coverage, this page and its tests will be updated without changing the URL.

What we can verify about Claude

  1. Supported new Claude models embed an imperceptible mark at generation time.
  2. Claude file outputs can also carry signed provenance metadata.
  3. No missing mark or removal result proves who originally wrote a passage.

How the Claude watermark remover is being built

Verify the target

Separate model-level text watermarks from hidden characters, metadata, media labels, and interface formatting.

Process without rewriting

Use deterministic rules and show the result instead of asking another language model to regenerate the text.

Publish supported scope

Only call a method supported after repeatable tests identify the affected models, products, languages, and text lengths.

Claude watermark remover FAQ

Does Claude add a watermark to generated text?

Yes, for supported models launched on or after August 2, 2026. Anthropic says older models are in transition.

Does this tool rewrite text with another AI?

No. It uses fixed local rules and never sends the text to a generative model for rewriting.

Can removal be guaranteed?

Not yet. Anthropic has announced detection support but has not published all technical details needed for independent verification.
